How billing works

Usage-based, metered per request. No subscription, credit never expires.

Input tokens 1×
The prompt and context you send to the model, billed at the official list price each model publishes, with no hidden multiplier.
Output tokens 3–6× the input price
The text the model generates. Output costs 3–6× the input price (depending on the model). Streaming and non-streaming are billed the same.
Cache hit (read) at the vendor's list price
Context that hits the vendor's prompt cache — billed at each model vendor's officially published cache-hit price (usually below the input price). Keeping your system prompt stable is enough to hit it, and this is the biggest lever for saving money.
Cache write at the vendor’s list price
Context written into the cache (cache creation) is billed separately at each vendor’s officially published cache-write price. Models with no separately published write price fold cache creation into the input price.
Cache storage at the vendor’s list price
Cache held on the vendor side is billed separately per natural hour (a partial hour counts as a full hour). Cache writes and cache storage are billed separately per each vendor’s officially published pricing rules.
Reasoning tokens = output price
Reasoning tokens from extended-thinking models are billed entirely at the output price — no hidden multiplier at all.
Price stable long term
All models are billed at the official list price each vendor publishes; prices are stable long term and not tied to promotion windows.

The console itemises every call — input, output, cached and reasoning tokens are all visible. Live prices can be verified with GET /v1/models .

Cache hits cost less: as low as ¥0.30 per million (about 1/30 of the input price) — save about 97% on repeated prefixes
